Word of the day: snark

I was reading the comment section of this post on Apartment Therapy, where the writer was asking for suggestions to fix-up their bathroom.
The reader's comment was: 'The first thing to do would definitely be straightening the floor to horizontal position.'
I thought it was mildly humorous, and later in the post, I found out what that type of comment is known as.
Snark- definition: combination of "snide" and "remark".
