On January 30th I posted about my excitement to see Harold and Kumar part 2.
I went and saw it recently. Horrible. Absolutely horrible.
If you enjoyed the first one, DO NOT see the second one.
No subtle one-liners or witty dialogue. Just in-your-face over-the-top crude humor that wasn't even that funny. Hearing Harold exlaim "F--- you, Kumar" about a zillion times got old real fast. I went and saw it with 4 other friends. I think we laughed out loud twice.
What a disappointment.
I think I found where they went wrong.
Danny Leiner was dropped as the director. Aside from directing the first H&K, his credits include the film Dude, Where's My Car?, and a few episodes of TV shows Arrested Development, The Sopranos, and The Tick.
